Sarah Lillietta

We had our week 20 ultrasound today. Of course we are at week 19, but we pushed it a week ahead because we wanted to know boy or girl. Well, as I hope the name implies, IT'LL BE A GIRL! This was our first ultrasound at the new doctor, and they don't do video, so here are some pictures. Everything is healthy, and we can't wait to meet Sarah. At about week 24 we will get a "4-d" ultrasound and that will be recorded on DVD. Sounds good; the 4th dimension is time, so I'm hoping to learn all about Sarah's entire life when we have that done.

Here's her face. I'm hoping the skin will help her look a bit more human. The ultrasound mainly picks up the bones.

Night Out

I didn't want to have just an evening at home tonight, so I got a change of clothes for Sherri and met her at her work when she got off. We went to The Spectrum and had a nice dinner at the Yard House and then just walked around. I thought Amy would be interested in this picture, Sweet Lorraines Cupcake Shop. We didn't try it, we were stuffed, but maybe next time.

Some Picts

Friday night we went to temple to see my nephew in the junior choir. He's the first boy on the left with a blue shirt.
Here's some pictures I took yesterday of the kitchen:

Happy New Year!

Yesterday was the Jewish new year, Rosh Hashanah. Every year, to bring in a sweet new year, my in-laws have what they call the Sweet Table. This year Sherri made 9 desserts. I'm not sure how many desserts in total there were, but needless to say, there was plenty to go around with many left overs too.
Here's some pictures of the desserts:

It's getting there

It looks like construction is moving along nicely. My dad found one thing he does not like though. There is a bit of rotted wood (not new stuff) that needs replacing, but was covered up by the new wood without actually replacing it. That will be fixed, and it looks like everything is proceeding on schedule.

Citizenship

Today Sherri took her oath and officially became a US citizen. She is somewhere in this crowd shot (I know, but I'm not telling).

Gutting and Framing

My parents just swung by my house and had their camera. So, here are some shots from today's contruction:
