Dad's B-day Party

Yesterday we celebrated my Dad's birthday and my brother-in-law's birthday. Lot's o' fun was had by all. I unfortunetly misplaced my camera for most of the day, so not as many pictures as I would have liked. The yard turned out great, and there was plenty of places for people to sit, talk, play, swim and more.
I took this before the party. I still don't know if she knows she is holding the rings, but she is holding them for longer now.Waiting for food

The kids loved the new playhouse. Dilynn was giving tours.

Full Day

Yesterday we had a pretty full day. In the morning we went to the nature center with Dave, Amy and Cambria. It was the first time Cambria has met Sarah. Sarah was asleep for most of the time, but it was fun.
Here's Cambria trying to figure out little Sarah.Group shot
In the tree
There were a ton of lizards. This one let me take a couple pictures, but wouldn't let me take him home.
Later on in the day we went to my sister's for a bit, then swung by my in-laws so they could see Sarah, and then went to dinner and spa at my folks'. All and all, very good day.

Random Pictures of Sarah and Confusing Sign

My sister wanted me to send her some pictures, so as long as I was getting these ready for sending, I thought I'd post them to the blog too.

I cannot figure out this sign. I pass MANY copies of this sign to and from work everyday. I want to know why Logan is littering, and why he won't stop. There is a Logan Street nearby, but it is about 1 to 3 blocks away. Also, I've driven down Logan Street and not one of these signs is on the street. I think whoever put these signs up is really just trying to get Logan to stop littering. At the very least, someone owes me an explanation!

Green Eggs and Sarah

Yesterday Sherri made me some green eggs and sausage and toast. The title of the book, Green Eggs and Ham, is ambiguous. I didn't realize until we checked later that both the eggs and the ham were green. Also, the egg whites are white and the yolks are green. So this was a bit backwards, but I still enjoyed them.
Sherri put Sarah in the play area again, and there wasn't any screaming this time...so progress. This picture is how Sarah looks quite often, kind of worried. Actually, I see this face more often when I'm holding her than when Sherri is. Also, she has some small rash on her face which we are looking in to. At least she has her doctor's appointment Tuesday so he can allay any worries I have.

Toy Day

Sherri tried some toys with Sarah today.
She figured out that this one goes in the mouth. The playpen overwhelmed her though. She was lying there for all of 10 seconds, and crying throughout 9 of those seconds.
